Double standards are all around us and have been for countless years. We talk about the many double standards, such as Taxes, what is acceptable behavior for Men & Women.
However there is a single double standard between the Government and People that needs to be discussed "LYING".
Not only in Lying by a Federal Officer acceptable practice, but has been upheld in our courts. However, lying buy a citizen to a Federal Officer is a CRIME and punishable by jail time.
Why is it acceptable for the Government to lie to us but we can not lie to the Government.
