My husband told me this week he was going to clean and organize the garage. I said "Great" Well he said he has done it twice. My question is "What did he do?"  My washer and dryer are in the garage I go in there and it looks worse than before. He keeps empting the garage then by the time he empties it he does not feel like doing anything so he just throws it back in well atleast it looks that way to me. I guess my whole pt to this is that why do men do this? They say they are going to clean something and it usually looks worse than when they started. It is very frustrating to me that they do this. And it just is not with the garage it is everywhere it seems. I am frustrated with this because if we were to do this then we would get all the riping in the world. But I guess that is why God gave women the strength to have babies. If we can handle child birth we can do anything.

I find myself turning 36 right around the corner and re-entering the workforce after 2 years of being my own boss, boy is it hard. I have been working from home this past year and the year before that owned my own tanning salon and for the past 8 yrs worked from home for a major corp. Boy is the market tough. Yes I have a college degree but that was a few years ago and having 2 small children I do not want or can I afford to put them in child care so I am looking for an evening job. There is not much out there. I have plenty of experience in a wide range of areas, but I have a feeling that many employers will think I am over qualified and not be given a chance. What I want to employers to think about is yes we have experience, education, but you know what we all have to start some where and if it is at the bottom a lot of us will take it. We do realize we have to learn the positions and we are not going to always be at the bottom we can work our way up. So, please do not descriminate against us. Give us a chance.

Working with family is probably one of the hardest things to do. It is difficult to seperate work from family as far as the relationship is concerned. One always takes things personally when it is not. But, it is hard not to. I currently work for my brother-in-law as his assistant and man is it hard. At times he can be very talkative then he goes through times where he holds everything back. I know it is nothing against me but man is it hard. After I was working for him for a few months he asked why I never spoke up about things and I said I know I can be a b---- sometimes when I do. He told me not to worry about it this is work we have to express ourselves. And learn to set it aside when it is done, because it will make us all a better person in the long run. Which I greatly appreciate but yet, it is still hard. My point being think twice before working with family and make sure everything is in writing so that there can be no misunderstandings.

Before you have children you think they won't change my life. Well not too much I will still be able to do what I want and almost when I want. Thats not true. You have to think when you want to do things because now you get to haul a little bundle with you where ever you go and sometimes it is not the easiest thing to do. Like going to get your hair done, not the easiest thing to do with a little one and not relaxing at all. Besides what and when you get to do things changing, how you think changes. Especially with this hard economic times. Having to move or loosing TV because you can not afford it is one thing when it is just the adults. But, how do you explain that to a 5 yr old especially when you have relatives that are better off. How do you explain that sorry honey I can not get that toy for you but your cousin just got to go on a big trip for their birthday. I am sure this is a simular delimia facing alot of americans these days. Or atleast something simular, I am facing this. So here I go to get job number 3 because my husband is on comp and can not go get job number 2. I am just thankful my day job allows me to bring my baby to work and works around my 5 yr old school schedule. Things will get better I just keep praying to God for guidance.

You always hear about how after you are married the sex life deminishes after a couple of years I thought yeah right not us. Then you hear wait til the kids come then you really do not have a sex life and again I thought yeah right. But yeah right is true. After the first child things do not change to much then you are married a few more years and have baby number 2 then yes things do change. You do not want cuddle. You just want your own space. With 2 kids hanging on you the last thing you want is a man hanging on you. But all in all you have to try and overcome that. Or your marriage will suffer. Think about it do you cuddle like you use to, if no, make an effort he will appreciate it and in the long run so will you.

What was the current First Lady thinking. The state of our economy is terrible but she has top spend $485,000 on a new set of China because the current set is getting a tad worn. Good thinking right before you leave the office spend about a half a million dollars on dishes. That just shows us how they really do feel about the less fortunate people of the U.S. That amount of money could have been used on some other more important issues. Yes, and she waits until 2 weeks before they leave the white house to do it.

Isn't it strange how the government is so worried about our economy, but yet, they are allowing OPEC to decrease oil production. Everything that I am reading the oil prices are mainly rising here in California. This is due to the decreased production of our oil companies. Just when we were seeing a nice decrease in the price and getting some relief they quickly shoot up again heading into the new year when we were all hoping for a little bounce back and they wonder why the California economy is so bad with foreclosures and businesses either shutting down all or part of their business.
