I do not understand why Gov. Moon Beam Brown and or Attorney General Kamala Harris has not shut down Kaiser Medical. Here we go again with another lawsuit for medical negligence, this time it is alleged that the Kaiser doctor found out Jimmy Steen was diabetic and failed to tell him or treat him until he ended up in the emergency room 2 years later. I wonder if Kaiser is trying to kill off all of the members who pay monthly premiums so they will not have to spend any of the premiums and can continue to grow their bank account. This is the most interesting lawsuit I have yet to see against Kaiser Permanente. What makes this case so interesting is that Dr. Barbara Zipkin is that although she is claiming that Kaiser Permanente was abusing it's Non Profit Status and providing inadequate medical care to increase it's profits (this has been claimed by other Kaiser Permanente doctors. but that Dr. Barbara Zipkin has some balls she also made complaints to California Department of Managed Care, California Medical Board, California Department of Insurance and and California Franchise Tax Board. http://www.courthousenews.com/2012/02/28/kaiser%20zipkin.pdf

Another day another lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente. This time a Mr. David Stanley alleges that he was taken to the Baldwin Park Kaiser Permanente Hospital via an ambulance after suffering a stroke. David Stanley states that Kaiser Permanente refused to provide any medical care (all hospitals in California are required to provide medical care weather the patent can pay or not). David Stanley further alleges that Kaiser Permanente security guard kicked him. All I can say is that if half of this is true I hope; Dr. David Kim looses his license to practice. Here is a new and interesting lawsuit against Kaiser. Irma Scholz is suing Kaiser & Dr. Jina Lisa Janava in Alameda County. Irma Scholz claims Dr. Jina Lisa Janava prescribed a drug called "Carbamazepine". Irma Scholz states that this medication is not only known in the Medical Community but listed in the Physicians Desk Reference that persons of "Asian Desent" are predisposed to develop Stevens-Johnson Syndrome from taking this medication. What is most interesting about this lawsuit is that they are citing Burks v. Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (2008) that Irma Scholz does not have to arbitrate this Medical Malpractice Claim and instead can sue. Good luck to Irma Scholz and her lawyers, all Medical Malpractice Claims should in heard in court so doctors and health plans can not hide their failures.

Carrie Harris-Muller the ex Chief Administrative Officer for Kaiser Foundation Health Plans has filed a "wrongful termination" lawsuit in Alameda County. The lawsuit which is 20 pages and a link is provided below. The lawsuit alleges that Kaiser funneled profits that were earned from their "Non-Profit Sector" to their "For-Profit Sector" I wounder if this lawsuit will result in the California AG or the IRS getting involved? As someone who have experience the "PISS POOR" care provided by Kaiser Permanente. I would love to see Kaiser Permanente have to refund the outlandish monthly fees I have to pay. Another day another issue arises at a Kaiser Medical Facility.
Joan Rogers a Nurse with Kaiser in Redwood city was sentenced to only 4 days in jail for punching a 91 year old patient.
I want to know what the judge was thinking only 4 days in jail, with time off for good behavior and jail over crowding this nurse will probably serve only 2 days.
Why is the California State Board of Nursing not showing this on her record ? Will after is few days in jail she be hired with a clean record and be a danger to another patient ?

I hope Gov. Jerry Brown for the sake of every citizen of California fires every member of the State Medical Board.
Here we have Dr. David Chao who has not only been convicted of DUI, but a host of lawsuits and a raid by DEA.
Please note that most of these are not listed on the State Medical Board website so how can a person who is checking a Dr. trust any information provided by the State of California.

I do not understand why CNN thinks that fact that Elizabeth Edwards has decided to halt any further cancer treatments is news ? The real story should be the thousands of US Citizens who die every day because of the lack of Medical Insurance or the Thousand of Illegal Aliens who are receiving medical care they are not paying for.

Here we go again, another doctor is suing Kaiser Permanente, this time 2 patients died. What is most interesting about this case is that Dr. Kenneth Bradley is asserting that Kaiser Permanente's Non Profit Status is is a sham and Kaiser Permanente is really a For Profit Enterprise.

Dr. Richard Della Penna is suing Kaiser Permanente for failure to provide medical care to thousand of patients.
What I hope most is that every lawyer who represent a patient in a current or future lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente will be able to get copies of any and all documents to make Kaiser Permanente provide the care that they are paid to provide.

If only 1/8 of the allegations in the latest lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente by Raquel Martinez and her family are proved in court, the State of California and the Federal Government should revoke the mandatory arbitration that Kaiser Permanente requires all members to accept.
Further, the State of California should revoke EVERY medical license of EVERY doctor who did not graduate from a US Medical School.
Further, the Federal Government should revoke EVERY H1B Visa of EVERY Doctor in the US.
I wonder how much money Kaiser Permanente has donated to California and Federal politicians in donations to obtain such special benefits ?
I can personally attest to the sub-standard medical care and doctors at Kaiser Permanente.

This is another example of why you can not trust the Employees of the California Medical Board to protect the public.
A California Doctor "Dr. Christine Daniel" was been arrested this week for selling "Fake Cancer Cures" which has resulted in the deaths of patients.
This California Doctor was reported to the California Medical Board which has been investigating since 2003 or 2004 in is now 2009 with no action having been taken or no mention of this investigation on the Doctors profile at the California Medical Board website.
"Shakespeare died in 2003. Her husband, Easton, sought a refund from Daniel and reported her to a local consumer's council. The council forwarded the complaint to the California Medical Board, which is still investigating Daniel."
This Doctor has been under investigation for 4 to 5 years with no action or warning to the General Public that she is selling "Fake Cancer Cures".
Why are the people who run the California Medical Board still employed ?

I seams to me that our Government as usual over analyzes the subjects and solutions to problems.
Ninth Nine percent (99%) of the Health Insurance Companies in the United States are listed as Non Profit Corporations. The Non Profit status they receive makes them a Corporation for the benefit of the Public. Additionally the Non Profit status they receive provides that they are not required to pay State or Federal Income Taxes.
If the US Government were to take over all of the assets of these Non Profit Health Insurance Companies we would have the ability to start and fund a Universal Health Care Program in as little os 30 days.
Further the Government should seize the assets of all of the companies who have lied to the public when selling them Medical Discount Cards and add these monies to our Universal Health Care Fund.

I was performing a search of my Kaiser Permanente Doctor on their website, as a second check I looked at the Medical Board for the State of California website.
This is Shocking.......The people of the State of California not only deserve but have the right to know all information about their health care providers. Further, all information should be accurate and true.
The Medical Board of California states that Dr. Tayyiba Awan graduated from Grant Medical College at the University of Bombay. However Kaiser Permanente states that Dr. Tayyiba Awan graduated form King Edward Medical College Lahore Pakistan.
I understand that when foreign trained Doctors try and get licenses in the US they may have to obtain additional training in the US. However this does not explain how or why the differences in where this Doctor obtained her original medical training.
How can I as a consumer pick with knowledge and confidence a Doctor if the information which I am presented to choose a Health Care Provider is suspect.
I contacted the Medical Board of California with the discrepancies and they were unable to provide any explanation. I contacted the Physician recruiter office at Kaiser Permanente to see if they could explain, they did not return my phone call.
