Are you thinking about drying clothes on a clothesline to save money ?

One item you will need is an old fashoned clothes pin bag.  I have not seen clothes pin bags for sale in years.

To make your own chlotes pin bag,  take 1 button down shirt you toddlers have outgrown or pick up one at a garage sale.

Button all of the buttons on the shirt,  turn the shirt inside out,  seam up the arms,  seam up the bottom,  turn the shirt right side out,  unbutton a few of the buttons and insert a plastic hanger.

100% cotton fabric works best because you can just throw the clothes pin ban in the wash.

I was just thinking of other ways these clothes pin bags ould be used on a homestead.

1.  To store supplies such as wooden matches.

2.  In the kitchen to store cloth napkins.

3.  in the babys room to store diapers,  you will need a larger shirt.

4.  In the kids room to store stuffed animals,  you will need a larger shirt.

More ideas for the Clothes Pin Bags.

1.  In your pantry to hold canning jar seals & lids.

2.  If you have family members who travel for business and bring you home the sample bath itmes and the pre packaged coffee,  these homemade clothes pin bags would be greate store for these items also,  nust hang on a hook in the wall.
